Vision Statement
To provide legal services ethically, responsibly and professionally.
Mission Statement
Ethical: Kerdo Legal is committed to the rule of law and access to justice. We will always be upfront with you. We will tell you about our fees and how we will charge you, and we will stick to that. We will tell you about the prospects of your matter honestly and clearly.
Our practice sets aside a percentage of all fees to dedicate to pro bono cases. This allows us to assist and advocate for those who have limited means to access quality migration and legal services.
Responsible: At Kerdo Legal, we are serious about our obligations to you. We care about what happens. We work hard and use our expertise and experience to get the best possible outcome for you.
Professional: Peggy Kerdo, is a lawyer, a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Migration Institute of Australia. Since 2002, Peggy has practiced in the area of human rights law, specifically in the immigration and refugee area, but has experience in many areas of the law. She was previously a Section Head of the Human Rights and Civil Law Service of Victoria Legal Aid, and taught law at La Trobe University. Peggy has run cases at all levels: from Department of Immigration visa applications and interviews through to Tribunal reviews, all the way up to the High Court of Australia. Peggy has responded to community demand and expanded her practice to include wills, living wills and estate assistance and action for unfair dismissal.
